Coming soon...."Coffeehouse in a Can"

Remember the Pot-Luck Supper?

The Pot-luck was a place you could bring your neighbor, or 'reluctant' family member and introduce them to your "church family" in an informal setting.

But times have changed. Tight schedules, demanding jobs, and family responsibilities leave folks with little time or energy to put into anything other than the essentials.

On the other hand, the Bible tells us that fellowship among Believers and out-reach to Seekers is essential to being a disciple of Jesus.

So what do we do?

The New Pot-Luck...
Has your church ever considered hosting a Christian Coffeehouse?

Have you ever attended one?

For the last five years, Bill and I have been playing Christian coffeehouses all over the Northeast.

What if all the very best ideas from these coffeehouses were combined into one special event?

AND

What if that special event was then packaged into a "coffeehouse kit", that churches could use to put on their own coffeehouse with a minimum of time, effort, and resources?

What would it look like?
Taste like?
Sound like?

We invite you to come and find out at Nightsong's

"Best of the Best" Coffeehouse
Saturday, May 20th
doors open at 7:30PM
Mattituck Presbyterian Church
Main Rd. (Rte. 25), Mattituck, NY
(for directions, please go to the schedule page).

This event will be the proto-type for Nightsong's COFFEEHOUSE IN A CAN
which will be available as of September 2006.

Come and see how energizing and uplifting a coffeehouse ministry can be. It's the new Pot-Luck!

Oh yeah...we will be honored to have a special guest with us that evening.
Ann Welcome will blessing us with her beautiful music. Nightsong will also have a few of our friends joining us that evening...Patrick Hanly on bass and mandolin, Lin Woodhull on clarinet, keyboard and vocals, and Steve & Lisa Schwind on percussion. It's gonna be a great night!

There is no cover charge for this event. A free-will offering will be taken to support the out-reach ministry of Nightsong.

Space is limited, so we'd appreciate a call in advance (631) 298-1699. Just leave your name and the number of people in your party.
Many thanks...
Bette, Bill and the Nightsong Crew
